The notion that women need to do more to receive less is deeply rooted in history… even at the Met. So we’re going to infiltrate it. Overnight we will switch and reposition works of art that show women in uncomfortable clothing and poses into Skims, so they too, can be liberated and Do the Bare.

Not only is this mantra deeply rooted in history, it is also built into our work schedules and our technology. Skims Mode, which will be available for download on your computer and your apple watch, will optimize your work schedule, create ‘Bare Blocks’ and designate relaxation periods. Instead of sensing stagnation and telling you to do more, Skims Mode has your back and reminds you to Do the Bare.
‘Easy Did It’ pop-ups
Adopting this new lifestyle will take some practice. Women are often running from work, to errands, to picking up the kids, to then dropping off the kids, etc. So we’ll meet you where you are… seek refuge from it all on our ‘Easy Did It’ pop-up bus, equipped with everything you need to just be and Do the Bare.

You’re starting to get it huh? The thing is, we can’t make everyone else get it too. They’ll have expectations, and they will reach out to remind you of them.
